Zinedine Zidane enters FIFA Best Coach Nomination
Zinedine Zidane, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte are on the list of FIFA 2017 best coach nominations.
Real Madrid won La Liga, Champions League and Club World Cup with Zidane last season while Mourinho collected three titles in his first season with Manchester United and Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has also been nominated for failing to win the title last season, with Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone and two-time Juventus champion Massimiliano Allegri.
Germany coach Joachim Low was also nominated after bringing his country Confederations Cup winners, while Brazil coach Tite is surprisingly nominated this year.
Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim also deserved a nomination post-Ligue 1 title success and went into the Champions League semifinals while PSG coach Unai Emery missed the nomination.
The list of 12 candidates was decided by ex player panels including Cafu, Diego Maradona, Carles Puyol, and Edwin Van der Sar.
The top three nominations will be decided by a combination of public options that will take place between August 21 and September 7 with options from national team captains, coaches and media representatives.
